"We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."
- Joseph Campbell
Welcome to my site!!
Our lives are multi-faceted. And...never boring!
Personal life experiences planted the seeds towards becoming a therapist. I was inspired to help others heal.
I have a high regard for psychotherapy- knowing its rewards in going through this path for my own growth.
My former career in education led me to wear different hats through the years- teacher, leader, cognitive coach (UCLA Center X certified), parent and staff workshops presenter. I’ve worked with families, individuals, and students needing support, resources, and guidance under challenging situations. This has enriched my abilities with the therapeutic work I love to do.
As a therapist, my work with clients runs the gamut- from PTSD and stress-related issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, autism, bipolar disorder, relationship struggles, women’s issues. I find joy in the work I do. It's an honor to work with people from different walks of life. I am present and skillful in helping clients through challenges and strengthening who they are. In bringing back a state of peace and joy into daily life.
I hold two Master of Arts degrees; in “Person-Centered” Education, and in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a California teaching credential (K-8, bilingual/bicultural). I am licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a member of CAMFT (CA. Association of Marriage and Family Therapists), San Gabriel Valley CAMFT, and Life Counseling, Monrovia CA.
Consider the safety and support of therapy. Reconnect to your authentic self!
